Comparing readings from cylinder to cylinder will help in diagnosing
problems with worn or badly seating engine valves, springs, guides,
piston rings. gaskets and cylinder heads.
Basic
A simple to use basic compression tester for 14mm and 18mm
spark plug threads. The dual adaptor is fitted with a non-return
valve to retain the test pressure, and a push button relief
valve returns the pressure to zero enabling repeat testing
without removal. A short flexible hose connects the adaptor
to a 63mm pressure gauge graduated 0-300psi and 0-20bar. A
ribbed rubber cover protects the gauge head from damage.

The accurate bourdon tube pressure gauge has a 63mm diameter
face and is graduated from 0-300psi and 0-20bar. It has an
integral relief valve enabling repeat testing of individual
cylinders without removal. A long flexible hose connects the
gauge to a dual 14mm and 18mm adaptor with built in non-return
valve. This can be used for straight forward applications,
or with one of the further 5 adaptors for most other applications.
